I founded Riverland Home Studios because I needed it myself.

As a Fort Lauderdale waterfront property owner who spent twenty-five years in executive leadership—often traveling extensively for work—I experienced firsthand what it means to worry about a home from a thousand miles away. To coordinate contractors across time zones. To wonder if everything would be secure when I returned.

That experience taught me something important: luxury homeowners don’t need someone to simply “check on” their property. They need a trusted partner who understands both the stakes involved and the standards expected.

I’m Mercedes, and I built Riverland Home Studios to provide the level of professional oversight I wish had existed when I needed it.

With over twenty-five years of executive leadership experience, including roles as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing for technology companies, I bring a systems-driven, results-oriented approach to property management in Fort Lauderdale and South Florida. My background is built on strategic planning, operational oversight, and delivering on commitments; skills that directly translate into effective home and estate management.


As a waterfront property owner in Fort Lauderdale, I’ve also managed the realities of luxury homeownership, from coordinating emergency repairs remotely to handling hurricane insurance claims while traveling. These firsthand experiences highlight a critical gap in the industry: most property management services are reactive, not proactive.
